South Shore Parishes Picnic
August 9 - 12pm
Milton Vretenar Memorial Park - St. Francis

Join us for our annual Six-Parish Picnic on Saturday, August 9! We look forward to celebrating together as one parish family.

To help us order the right amount of chicken and other food, we're asking everyone who plans to attend to let us know. If you missed signing up after Mass last weekend, you can still RSVP using the button below. Please tell us how many people will be attending with you.

Picnic Information

  • Combined Mass: 10:30 AM at Nativity of the Lord

  • Seating is limited: Please bring your own lawn chair.

  • Food Drive: Bring non-perishable food items to support our meal programs.

  • Children's Art Contest (Ages 17 & Under): Draw a picture of your parish and bring it to the picnic for display. Every participant will receive a prize, and one entry will be selected for the grand prize.

  • Dessert Contest: Bring a homemade dessert that does not require refrigeration (due to limited cooler space). The winning dessert will receive a $50 Woodman's gift card!

 

* Parking Entrance off of Denton Ave. - between Packard Ave. and Lake Dr.

* Shuttle Rides from Parking lot to picnic area for disabled.

  • To all parish families, our registrations for next year's formation is live! This includes those registering for Religious Formation and Sacrament Preparation.

    Everything is digital now. Deadline August 17.

  • 5:30pm at Humboldt Park. We will have a tent for the 6 parishes. Come hang out with us and show your love for your parish at the Hill.

  • 10:30am - Picnic Mass at NL

    12pm: Picnic at Milton Vretenar Memorial Park. Bring your chair.

    Drawing contest for kids and dessert contest.

  • 6pm - Mass

    7pm - Contra Dance

    This Mass is not day of obligation because it is a Saturday.

  • During the summer, the share meal are lunch bags served at IC parking lot.

  • 11am - 5pm: So much fun things happening at St. Paul’s Corn Fest
