Eucharistic Adoration
What is Eucharistic Adoration? As Catholics we believe that Jesus is present, body, blood, soul, and divinity in the Eucharist. In Eucharistic Adoration, a consecrated host(aka Jesus in the Eucharist) is displayed in a vessel called a monstrance and placed on the altar. While He is always present in the tabernacle in our churches, Eucharistic Adoration allows us to see Him and be seen in a particular way.
There are several opportunities to adore the Lord in and around the South Shore:
Tuesdays from 5:15-6pm at Sacred Heart of Jesus
Wednesdays from 12:30-5pm at the Basilica of St. Josaphat
Thursdays from 7:30am until Saturdays at 3pm at Immaculate Conception
Thursdays from 5:30-6pm at St. Paul (Adoremus)
